Truth or Dare?
Dare: "Go knock on a neighbor's door and give her a hug."
Silly girl spend-the-night party games, except these girls aren't your typical silly.
They were raised to be different.
When they dared one to stand on her chair and sing really loud, they all sang with her. When one was dared to hug a neighbor, they started talking about how they could make gifts to go with the dare. They headed to the art studio and started creating. Then someone suggested writing notes of encouragement... Before long, a silly dare ignited world changers, and they set out to bless someone's day.
I think I watched them be in the world but not of it as I followed them all around my house, caught up in the excitement of intentional kindness. They did what they love and used it to share Jesus. As I glanced at their notes, each of them told my neighbor that God loves her. It overflows out of them.
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds" Hebrews 10:24
Choose your friends wisely, and the peer pressure we fear loses its negative connotation. I don't think this is isolated to little girls. My own faith, purpose, and passions have been ignited and refined by my friendship with their Mamas.
